The Denver Airport is massive and confusing so this is pretty cool. Learn something new every day!

While visiting, I definitely started to think that this was the most “contemporary” art we have viewed throughout this course. I agree with this 100%.

This was an amazing course! I’ve also learned more about how to write about different works of art, but I’m also definitely still learning. This course helped a lot, very thankful to have taken it :)

Stepping out of your comfort zone and looking around (whether you’re looking in the mirror or not) can be pretty important.

This piece actually inspired me to think of my family tree. I hope to view this again soon.

This is also another favorite. There are so many different slides to choose from and appreciate. Holding these up to the sunlight is amazing.

I’m planning to use these and the others I have collected by combining them into a piece that resembles a sort of puzzle situation, but I’m not entirely sure yet. Regardless, I cannot let these go to waste.

The signature is so creative as well. This personal touch was brilliant.

I love this piece a lot. It is quite personal and there is so much to look at and understand. This was really well done.

Reminds me of a frilled-neck lizard honestly

When I get my own house (with the hopes that I’m financially stable) this will absolutely be on my inspiration board.

“But this is no different from what goes on in other arts: many of the pioneers of modern painting, literature, and music all went through the process of being labeled ugly before they came to seem beautiful.” - Herbert Lindenberger

This particular museum focuses on contemporary art from the 1960s and more. Even though it’s discomforting and resembles a sea snail or something like that, which I saw before researching, I love it and hope to visit.

I was about to say how I also saw both human characteristics and characteristics from nature. But like you said, we are connected through nature and I’m glad that this idea can be understood through this piece and throughout the exhibit as a whole.

Even when I’m given permission to interact with a piece, being reassured that it’s 100% okay, I still feel a sense of guilt when I do. But if that’s an aspect of the viewing the artist(s) intended for, then might as well enjoy the whole experience! You become part of the art itself.
