Trump: Suspending who?

All three of them:
“WTF? Habeas Corpus? Never heard of him, but he sounds like a foreigner!”
thetnholler.bsky.social
“Have you given any more thought to suspending habeas corpus?”

TRUMP: “Suspending who?” 🤷🏼

Aaand scene.

The billionaire tech bro’s want it all for free so they can keep multiplying their obscene fortunes

Data centres, including the land, buildings and extraordinary electricity and water needed to run them

As well as the intellectual property on which creators depend for their livelihood

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

Sure, but imo media are likely to jump on comments that can be reported as critical of government because that’s what they think sells news

“Zionism – anchoring our survival to a nation-state built on another people’s dispossession – has not brought us safety. October 7 was a painful reminder that no one can be secure while others live under siege.”

Are you basing your opinion on media reports on what was said 🤔

What about how media works, eh 🤷‍♀️

I briefly tuned in to the court case today and was horrified to hear the barrister for the Executive Council of Jewry use a 1984 case, in which a women against rape in war protest was banned, to argue against the anti-genocide protest

I looked into that case

The fact Wong thinks she can just snark her way out of this is a sign of how normalised the relationships between politicians and lobbyists have become.

Like, of course the PM shouldn't be president of a registered lobby group that sells corporate members access to politicians? No shit??
crikey.com.au
Independent Senator David Pocock and Labor's Penny Wong clashed in Senate estimates yesterday over whether the Parliamentary Sports Club could be considered a lobby group, as reported in Crikey last week. The club is registered as such, and lists Responsible Wagering Australia as one of its clients.

I don’t recall ever hearing such an argument against a football match

What about the Australians who were abducted from international waters, taken to Israel against their will and subjected to torture and humiliation in one of the worst prisons in that genocidal state

Did I miss the PM’s full page strongly worded media release?
