The first time I voted, I was a student at university. A 1st time federal candidate would often show up at events on campus and speak with the students. He beat the seasoned incumbent and went on to become Speaker of the House. I voted for him BTW.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

I recall that there was an H1N1 flu outbreak 15 years ago. I really hope we're not going that way again. My twins' school building was designed for 800 and has twice that amount of students. It's bursting at the seams. A bad flu would rip through that building. #bced

If the technology has been custom developed for the school district, it should have an intuitive design /not be clunky. I wonder if the people request paper backup for digital submissions were older workers. Is the burnout related to technology similar across all age groups? #bced

I always encourage youth and young adults to join a political youth group. That's how Christy got started in politics. MP's offices shouldn't drop the ball when they show up asking how they can get involved. Putting their name on a list and then no follow up isn't a good start. #cdnpoli #bcpoli

My #UBC grad degree was classified as a professional degree (which made the degree more $$$). I covered costs with savings from my previous job, research & teaching jobs, & student loans. Scholarships to students, who might not have such resources, could be the difference between attending or not.
