I really do not understand why Canadians complain about "high" tax rates. 1) they're really not, 2) people must not understand how *marginal* rates work, and 3) medical care! Roads. Energy infrastructure. Really decent services. Do you KNOW what that costs "privately"? Clearly not.

A couple of the most vocal yo yos I know on that fringe live most of their time in Latin American countries because of how tyrannical they think the Canadian government is. 🫠 These people have more than a few screws loose.
