On World Octopus Day please remember that an octopus feels pain. Its heart can be broken. All three of them. When an octopus is attacked, and squirts out ink, it's actually writing a poem in the water, hoping to escape while its attacker is enraptured by the poem’s song of yearning for lost love.

Due to my extreme old age and fragile stage, I can only listen to very soft and gentle music at the moment, like only eating ice cream after having tonsils out. Mashed potato for the ears.

Oooh fantastic! Yes, we followed each other for years and then one day I posted some of her Jackie illustrations (which I ADORED as a child and adore still) and he said ‘my mum did that’!!!!!
