Late Diagnosed Autistic, Getting Older, Tad Grumpy. Former Special Inspector in a Northern City, hopefully returning.
Radio Comms, Mechs, Dogs, Music and Gaming. Occasional Wildlife and outdoors photos.
TBF I was infantilized by my SC Supervision (Reg Sgt), so I don't have much hope around autism.

The problem with a lot of this stuff is there is too much for people to learn it all, and an aide de memoire in the depths of the intranet isn't enough either.

2+ years of pain after a spine injury, followed by surgery last October and I'm still not back to full speed.

I understand your pain, and you do learn to manage it. The hardest thing is no overdoing things! Hope you improve soon!

The Silverstone FLP? Want one, but can't justify it.

I dod see a 'Nokia' case at the tip the other week, if I thought I could have got away with it I'd have dived in the skip and swiped it.

Lets be fair, some guys think they're hard enough to win this, but I've watched them get twisted up by tiny girls.

That's largely because for years manual work has been looked down on. These days those in the trades are able to pick and choose the jobs they do, and TBH if it's a case if working a site with all the crap involved or doing something else most would sooner earn more with less hassle.

There hasn't been much since the election, though they were the only party to mention SCs.

SCs are a weirdly cost effective way to police at peak times. Be that just being able to double crew a van, or for nightsafe and similar.

I would argue that you can forget any SC uplift unless I've missed something. They're rarely -if ever- mentioned now.

Having spoken to a couple of you 'ladies' pretending to enjoy Gromit's nose I don't think feathers will survive without some indignities as well.

With luck...

Pretty sure the expectation was that the eaten faces would be other people.

I see it over here, and the prevailing opinion is that we should appease them.

What gets me is people being surprised. Didn't they say they would do all this before they took power?

Systems to arcane and complicated that officers don't log things.
