I seriously wish something like this would happen, kind of like the coloeco chameleon was supposed to be, a modern, moderately priced system that has old-school limitations. It'd be an indie dev and retro-enthusiast's dream.

Green Lantern for SNES. I know there's stuff out there already, but I know there's a bigger story here because Ocean had to rebuild after DC/Warner wanted extensive changes (not confirmed, but I suspect this is because the version of GL was a new guy and the "rules" for how his powers work changed)
