My Walmart is notorious for putting Action Figures on clearance en masse, even if they're relatively new on the shelf. I snagged Homer, Moe, and Krusty for $4 a pop, and the Weredragon from Altered Beast and Roo from SoR for $2.50. Metric ton of Marvel Legends, too. Not as discounted, but still cool

Someone needs to teach TechnoPathology that real journalism is like the scientific method; if you go in wanting a result and are biased to that result, your "research" uncovers that result. If you refrain from using personal bias and stick to facts and observable phenomena, you get the truth.

I love that @eriklarsen.bsky.social has no qualms about using public domain characters in his work, Savage Dragon in particular. Erik, if you're still doing funnybooks in 2034, I hope the Dragon kids team up with a certain "champion of the oppressed."

I don't know how to code, AT ALL, but I would REALLY like to use GB Studio or something to remake Pyro 2. There's just something about going through government buildings and blowing them up that's somehow appealing right now.

I don't know how to code, AT ALL, but I would REALLY like to use GB Studio or something to remake Pyro 2. There's just something about going through government buildings and blowing them up that's somehow appealing right now.

Our local county sheriff is not my favorite person. He just issued a press release telling local residents not to harass ICE agents in our area (there apparently was an incident when some ICE people were harassed while off-duty), but he literally says, "I do not want to see anyone die."

I used to play the online game Drawception a lot. It's like the game telephone, you get a prompt, draw it, and the next person makes a prompt based on what they interpret your drawing as, and so on. Here's is one i did a few years ago based on the prompt: "Doctor Doom doing the Marilyn Monroe pose."

I know people in my feed might like this, I have a lot of questions before I back it though, but you can't comment on a Kickstarter unless you back it. It touts itself as a compendium, but also as a look at cheat code history, but the pages they show look like it's just reprinting magazines...

Dreams are weird. I had a dream I went to my local comic shop (of which I don't even HAVE one), and @templesmith.bsky.social was doing sketches there. I got a TMNT/Usagi Yojimbo sketch cover and a sketch card of the characters from NES Final Fantasy I. My dream logic made him look like Stan Sakai.

I love that my small town held a no ICE protest, and was happy to cover it. However, I severely dislike that a lot of people in my community think the people who are brave enough to put themselves out there are crazy/wrong or accuse them of being paid... Etc. Killing is wrong, period.

Designing and printing these Flexi toys is pretty fun. This is the latest: Superman! (also available in pre 80s squared off font) I'll take requests if anyone wants me to make a different one.

I needed a break today, so I designed and printed this Flexi toy I made from the 70s Batman logo (which I vectorized years ago). It's just a prototype, but I still think it's pretty cool.

Trying out Jellyfin, as Plex finally made it so my boys can't see my server without a PlexPass. We'll see how it goes. I know it's not as fully featured, but I don't want to pay.
