I’ve never really got on with the slow cooker (it’s Mackenzies) but after the success of the leg of lamb last week it’s Beef & Lentil Casserole today.

He looks such a sweetie. The Furry Ones Merlin looks very similar. His brother Dexter died recently. While he was alive he only wanted to be close during the night. He’s now a complete lap cat.

The good news (well sort of) is because of OHs other health issue they’re delaying his knee op until February which means GC is on.

Physics tells me ham first as it’s more stable so easier to layer the cream on top. The recipe shows it the other way though.
