History repeats itself in the worst way, too. Boomers had parents who fought against the polio vaccine and seatbelt laws, like our generations seem to be doing with covid. Lots of kids just won't make it out of that alive, unfortunately.

I love this, and I think I'm reading it at just the right time. I'm trying to take better care of myself since the heart failure diagnosis, and a lot of the time I feel like I can't afford to push myself. Reading this changed my perspective.
