you cant just vaguely go into spaces based on having similar interests with others and think miracle fulfilling friendships will happen. hold interest and wonder towards other peoples lives that go beyond that shared interests. trying to form genuine bonds with others means you have to love people.

honestly im not a huge fan of how so established certain art styles are in anime. less shapes, cutesy-vague same faces, and thin lines are so boringly popular. i just really wish there was more variety. more line weight & distinct shapes. more boldness. which would uplift a lot of anime i think.

I don't think looking for attention is a good thing most of the time but i find it tiring that you can't ask for advice to have more visibility on your art characters ect without having people being like "oh so you don't like what you do and do it only for visibility?"
