and no i’ve never read berserk, but its my friend whos never played dark souls favorite and a while ago he was like “oh i ordered a figurine of skull knight from berserk” and i was like “ooo lemme look up - ah; the dark wraiths design is based on berserk too.”

i’m sure its someones favorite area but it sure isn’t mine. i was at least glad the skeletons in the tomb of the giants are much weaker to fire than i’d been afraid they were (& then i looked up a speedrun strategy to get through the 2nd half as fast as possible because 3 gravity deaths was enough)

i only stopped cause i realized it was midnight and i was not about to start the dukes fucking archives at midnight

and then after i finish this im probably gonna go straight to booting up ds3 and doing another pyro run of that which admittedly is a little harder but still VERY fun esp if you kill ODK right away after abyss watchers for chaos bed vestiges i OOOOOH DOGGY 👌🫶🔥

i’m also skipping the stray demon back in the asylum for now cause after i killed O&S i went to try it with my +10 pyro glove and shit i got from quelana and i was BARELY hurting it 🥲🥲🥲 maybe later when i have an upgraded melee weapon
