Throwing away a promising medical career and pigeonholing yourself into becoming a right wing culture war podcaster to own the libs.

Once you start down the path of being a right wing grifter it’s the road you will walk for the rest of your miserable life. But hey she succeeded in making a trans person miserable and all it cost her is a lifetime of public humiliation on a national stage.

I’ve written my share of bad essays that would have earned a failing grade if I had not been forced by the teacher to rewrite then but I can rest easy knowing that they will not haunt me the way this essay’s going to haunt her.
December 7, 2025 at 3:41 PM
That’s quite an impressive thing she’s done: whenever a future med school or employer googles her name this essay; this stunt is going to be the very fist thing that comes up. She’s probably upended her near to long term future just to hassle a single trans TA.

If the founding fathers truly wished us to be as enslaved to their beliefs and values as Originalist claim they neither Judicial Review nor constitutional amendments would exist because both inherently allow for reinterpretation and modification of the text of the constitution.
December 5, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Because this is also just a legalistic fig leaf for for using the constitution as a rubber stamp to force society to conform to the secular conservative dogmas of originalist thinkers who will gladly abandon their own supposed principles and values the second they become inconvenient.
December 5, 2025 at 8:38 PM
That the founding fathers themselves would have rejected an originalist interpretation of the constitution and made it clear that it is a living text designed to be modified and interpreted so that future generations are not bound to the beliefs and values of the past does not matter.
December 5, 2025 at 8:35 PM
That the bill of rights clearly implies that American Citizens have a fundamental right to privacy that the government cannot infringe upon and that abortion was not even an issue of concern to catholics when the constitution was written does not matter.
December 5, 2025 at 8:32 PM
The Supreme Court made this obvious when they overturned Abortion on the basis of just outright ahistorical lies about what the founding fathers would have believed about the right to privacy and abortion.

It’s a lot like Biblical Literalism in that it’s proponents do not actually believe it’s core tenets. Just as the actual text and context of scripture does not factor into a literalist interpretation the actual beliefs and intent of the founders do not factor into an originalist interpretation.

A cis author could not write Helicopter Story. Just from the ways they talked about gender theory and the experiences of womanhood betrays someone who is clearly very keyed into this stuff far more than any cis male neo-nazi 4chan troll would actually be.
December 5, 2025 at 8:16 PM
It took me so long to read the story because every time I did I would get so mad at the people who claimed that the text itself was proof that the author couldn’t possibly be a trans woman. Because it wad so god damn obvious the author couldn’t be anything but a trans author.

Remember that time Congress almost passed a bill that would have defined antisemitism in such a way that criticizing Israel would be Antisemitic but saying all Jews everywhere are collectively responsible for the crucifixion of Christ isn’t antisemitic.

I fucking hate this country
December 5, 2025 at 7:47 AM
Motherfucker I’m talking about *you.* You are the outrageous hypocrite who only cares about Venezuela because a regime he doesn’t like is invading them.

Russia has been warning on Ukraine since 2014 because it has no respect for their sovereignty and wants access to their mineral rights.
December 5, 2025 at 7:37 AM
Yeah you can’t just invade your neighbors so you can install friendly regimes that will give you unfettered access to their mineral wealth!

It’d be outrageous if something like that had been happening for years and people only found their outrage when a regime they didn’t like started doing it.
December 5, 2025 at 7:28 AM
And before you ask: no. I’m sub-posting for a reason. There weren’t consequences the last ten times this shit was litigated there won’t be consequences now. And I don’t really want to see more trans fems get mulched by the teflon don of the SFF world. If you know you know.
December 5, 2025 at 6:55 AM
Mainly but not exclusively because a certain notorious SFF author with a history of this exact kind of shit—weaponizing the rhetoric of social justice and liberation against her peers—was at the very least on the side lines boosting one of the people who claimed Fall was a secret Nazi.

You would have loved Nazi Germany their “remigrations” were also conducted via the rule of law.

I remember reading in his wikipedia page that one of the incentives he’d been offered for the 1828 expedition after the the failed 1824 and ‘26 expeditions was some kind tax exemption if he could finally get the a colony established within three years.
December 3, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Like they didn’t go into much detail but there were mentions of evidence of pre-Columbian utilization of the Island in the form of arrow heads, fish hooks, canoes, etc dating to sometime between the high medieval period and the early modern period.
December 3, 2025 at 7:38 AM
Okay this might actually be a case of people being lazy, illiterate, and/or stupid as opposed to Wikipedia being unreliable or wrong but the pages I reading to try and get a better understanding of this conflict mentioned and alluded to some of this as well.
