Arsène Wenger enthusiast
You can also look at the criticism of some fans : the lack of pathway.

Rarely, do we chose the right loan, when we chose some to maximise potential and value.

The discussion should be there at the end of the day. Hutchinson being an example.

I agree with your last point.

Arsène got the most of any average football player and made them play to a level they had never reached. (Song, Hleb, etc).

I think that with M, our fringe players are barely introduced in in the XI, he could make just one change which could be beneficial.

Yes, but he got better bc he got new players and not because he understands that he needs to trust everybody.

I feel this part (bc I’m Wenger fan) is missing.

At some point, he will need to let players surprise him. At the moment, he doesn’t put them in ideal situations and they disappoint. Circle

Yes, I stated the same ref as you with Real Madrid.

I really wonder if the board (through lack of inactivity) wanted to confront Mikel on his (imo) shortcoming of squad management/rotation and lack of trust in his fringe players.

Ancelotti and Mikel are very different though, could favour Carlo.

Can I ask you where you stand on all of this? Like what would you be your contextualised answers and how many actors are involved and to which degree?

Knowing Arteta, I certainly do not disagree as he strives for controlled, patient football.

However, it feels like what he demands for his winger is a lot. I have in mind all the defensive actions that Saka does in comparison with Salah for example. Heat maps also seem to point out that.

It’s a lovely read, thank you. I also think that not everything is doomed.

I’d have loved to see how many more def. actions or stats than just minutes when you compared Openda and co. I think that Mikel’s system is very demanding for wingers hence my point.

Personally, I would have loved to see us selling Jesus and already acquire one forward, not necessarily a 9.

Sterling took a while to get up to the tempo therefore was not trusted at the beginning.

My complain is in the lack of pro-activity in general, where I feel that it comes to bite us back.
February 3, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Arsenal fans are not used to seeing us act like a big club. We still have 6 forwards at the club with only Saka being injured.

I agree with your assessment.

My concern is the business done last summer and its consequences.

good, my bad.

I certainly disagree giving a crown to Edu for these deals, for sure though.

Hadn’t seen this!

You tweeted that both Zubimendi (who had a release clause) and Merino were great stuff 👑 Edu so yeah, I believe this is what you implied. No?

I certainly wouldn’t say hats off to edu for paying Merino that amount with one year left and supposedly activating a RC.
January 14, 2025 at 2:05 PM
Yes, I follow you and like your account a lot.

Stating that the Merino deal is great stuff is a bad take. We overpaid for him, that’s all.

Don’t criticise if you cannot take criticism or at least argue.

Hey Amy, love what you came up with at the end of it, really fits you I think.

Reminds me of what famous French writer Alain Damasio did with Rone (electronic) on the track “Bora”. As mystical as mythical.

Something to explore maybe?

I was so afraid to read the conclusion of your tweet but relieved.

I also think it would be great to sell and upgrade this window. Maybe the best window coup?

Stopgap signings have not proven detrimental to a title so far. Short term pain, long term gain. Madrid like.

Arteta is the X-factor.

True Partey’s successor
January 4, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Hey, what do you think of Quiten Timber? It would be interesting if you could do a deep dive on him.

Ball control, acceleration and decision making (close with determination)

This season is about players looking to be shipped trying to prove themselves. Partey plays for another contract. Jesus not to be sold, etc. They ain’t fooling me 😆
