For many of my mutuals and followers I know these darker taboo topics can be uncomfortable to discuss, so I completely understand if you don’t want to weigh in on these specific topics. But I do believe if you follow me & know me you should stand up against censorship with me.

W/ everything happening with censorship here on Bluesky, I felt like I should say something. I know these may be surprising opinion, given how vocally anti loli/shota I am, but my sentiment remains that as I dislike or despite any fetish, I do not believe in revoking the right to create said work.

I also think if we actually look thoughtfully at the cores of these fetishes, many of them are rooted in performing power dynamics and taboo, not a desire to assault and harm others in real life.

They say they don’t want censorship, just consequences, but then admit these things are not illegal. If the “consequence” is harassment, accusation of heinous crimes and being doxed, how is this not a use of intimidation tactics to censor others work?

These may not be fetishes that I particularly enjoy myself, but I think if things are being created in fiction by adults for adults, it isn’t mine to police. These younger folks can’t understand that by publicly doxxing, harassing & accusing others they are advocating for censorship.

The TikTok fetish puritans are making me defend ageplay and incest fetishists because they think it makes anyone who reads or writes about those topics a pedophile and someone who has or will hurt a family member. They’re equating age play to pedophilia and it just is not that.
