Girl Dinner by Olivie Blake is *technically* more of like a suspense/thriller, I guess, but it's a fun ride. And Out There Screaming, the Black Horror Anthology from a couple years back is full of bangers.

I'll second all the Tingle recs. Sarah Gailey's Spread Me is a great time (though it just came out, so might not be library download friendly). The Woods All Black by Lee Mandelo was great. I liked Model Home by Rivers Solomon earlier this year too.

At the end of October, Becca and I will be moving away from San Diego. Exact destination TBD. There's sort of a best and worst case scenario. Best is we move for a job. Worst is we move because I still can't find one. So...any support right now would be great.

It's Banned Books Week. So, very quickly, yes, you should absolutely obviously be getting engaged in your community. The concerns of book banning are huge at local and state levels, as well as with Federal grossness. Schools and libraries need your support. Book banning and banners are stupid.
