I have tried many things, and this has had the most success. A large visible whiteboard calendar showing me the next six weeks or so that I can colour code. This is one I have been using from the Australian Kmart, but other types might be available online:

Set myself a Swiftie challenge of planning a Life of a Showgirl tour setlist including all LOAS songs and only songs from Lover onwards that Taylor didn't include in the main Eras Tour setlist. Open to feedback! Each chunk would be together as same Set design/costume/lighting I think.

Food for husband’s 34th birthday went well! Toddler and I made a chocolate fudge and raspberry cake, and then dinner was a platter of his favourite snack options included caramelised onion relish, smoked cheddar, baked brie and garlic and chilli olives (and grapes for the toddler).

A historic house near me ran a day of events all about how Christmas would have been celebrated in Australia in the early 1800s and we had a blast! My toddler made a pomander (of oranges and cloves) that she became so attached to she fell asleep in the car OJ the way home holding it 😄

One of the benefits of Christmas in summer is having so much delicious fruit in season to use in desserts. Please enjoy this very Australian lamington wreath with strawberries and cream I made for an end of year morning tea today! 🎄

I know everyone is debuting their fancy Advent calendars and devotionals, and I truly love that for you - but if, like me, you are in the midst of toddler chaos, please enjoy my junky attempt to introduce Advent concepts to my 2yo through colouring and decorating a page each week 😄
