yeah Demi didn’t get the Oscar. but she has something better: The Substance is already a cult classic and a midnight movie. people will enjoy her and the movie again and again for years. that’s the beauty of horror movies. they’re eternal and so are the great performances in them.

The peak of this was when Mad Max Fury Road won and that legend had a leather jacket and jeans, what a queen.
I like the costumes category bc every time they cut to a nominee it’s someone you’ve never heard of who is clearly the coolest looking person in every room they walk into

I miss games that are about 8-20h long and have linear gameplay/stories. Not every game has to be open world and 60+h long😭

Tolkien is a great example of how fantasy authors can easily write about their female characters being put in horrible situations without sexualizing and romanticizing their abuse. Or even sexualizing them in general

The idea that story-driven games aren’t replayable is so strange to me. I eventually bounce off every multiplayer game because I get bored, but I go back to story games again and again just like rewatching a favorite movie, or to experience something new

- Capitalists are cartoony villains who WILL destroy the Earth for profit
- We need woke DEI inclusion to fight fascism
- "HEARRRT" (kindness) is just as important as FIRE
