Based on being consistent, yes if we continue to allow meat eating as a society. But I'd prefer banning all meat since I think animals and humans are of similar consciousness. I know gradual bans lead to my preferred policy but I don't like the inconsistent reasoning for bans.

The city doesn't enforce parking laws. In my area of downtown it took the city weeks to determine cars were abandoned at metered spots and I see cars parked in the same 2hr limit spots for days.
