Oh ya this was for an AZ specific design contest so no goats sadly. I actually wanted to do a desert bighorn too but ran out of time.

It's so weird it auto tags as sexually suggestive on images tagged by you with an option that is SPECIFICALLY non-sexual nudity. Like no, it's not sexual nudity, you can tell by the fact that I selected non sexual nudity and not the sexual content button that was right next to it.

from under the Bear tooth head fungus (I wish that mushroom had a catchier name)
A large white fungus loosely resembling a droopy willow tree, with a trunk and thick white fleshy fronds flowing downwards. One of the branches has a swing attached upon which an isopod sits. The scene is garnished with various lichens and mosses.

That's a way better name. Short, easy to remember, atmospheric, visually descriptive, fits the vibe just right.

Holy cow a lot is going on in the US right now. You may also need to take a deep breath and look closely at a painted lady butterfly.
Painted lady butterfly, Nymphalidae, from Bandera County Texas, Lost Maples State Park. It's a closeup of the head and wings; the antennae have "knobs" on the end, and the wings are a pretty pattern of mossy browns with a splash of pinkish orange. The "knobs" on the antennae are characteristic of Nymphalids, and their first pair of legs are reduced.

Some visdev stuff for a friend of mine!
A small brick and stone cottage nestled among small birch trees and larger pine trees on a bright summery day. The ocean and some seaside cliffs visible in the distance. A small brick and stone cottage, slightly worn down with dark windows and leaves on the roof, among mostly leafless birch trees and larger pine trees on a cloudy late fall day. The ocean and some seaside cliffs visible in the distance.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.
