Toronto getting a tough whistle in Boston? No way!

I don't even have to specify the sport for this to ring true.

The Raps season just took a very negative turn with that RJ ankle sprain.

Brown is 4/11 from the field with 3 TOs but 10/10 from the line and they're chanting MVP for him hahaha

White has such patience and pace control when he's driving, often freezing the defender/help by NOT going hard to the basket. Old man drives.

Quickley would be well served to try and develop these skills so he doesn't have to rely as much on the floater.

The Celtics screeners are so good at creating separation. Raps D can't stay attached.
January 10, 2026 at 12:57 AM
What a steal for the Raps. Overcoming a shooting performance like that is almost impossible.

Hell of a 4th from RJ. Hell of a play from Darko. IQ drains it!

That's such a soft tech on RJ. Sheesh

Czechia was fantastic but losing to them 3 years in a row at this tournament is an indictment on Hockey Canada. Canadians got beat by a fast, heavy forecheck and strong cycle, and the only adjustment they could make was to aerial the puck out and hope to retrieve it. Not good enough.

Scoreboard flatters Canada, Czechs kicked the crap out of them

I'm far from a prospects guy but watching Danford at the WJC hasn't been great. Small sample size, hopefully...

The Leafs cannot simply accomplish a nice thing. UGH
January 4, 2026 at 2:52 AM
I would love for the Leafs to close it out on the night 34 sets a franchise record. Maybe the hat trick has been foretold.

Gradey's shooting form seems to be changing on the fly. Less cock back, more right-hand dominance, flicking with a more square right elbow. Awkward to make that drastic of a change in season.

Thought Lednak deserved player of the game for the Slovaks. Yes, it was decided when he came in, but he was excellent in relief. Canada could have potted 6 more on him.

BI fadeaway over Draymond, as good of a tough-bucket-getter as BI is, can't be the best look they can generate with 2.4 left ATO.

Gord Miller is so damn good. Fantastic setup and call on that goal by MacKenzie
December 27, 2025 at 3:48 AM
Hold your breath when Canada is in their own zone.
December 27, 2025 at 3:40 AM
Czechs heavily outplaying Canada in the 2nd

How much longer can the Leafs stick their head in the sand with Berube? The time for change was 6 weeks ago.

The important thing is that the Leafs are now run by people who will listen to the loudest fans and are more likely to be available to legacy media

Last season, Berube's first with Toronto, doesn't raise so many eyebrows, though it's still curious that the down-2 push is smaller than the down-1. The season before that, though, down-2 play is ferocious.

Great set play to close the quarter there. Bait the double then check option 1 (cutting Shead) and if there's help someone's open. You know they'll double BI so use that.

CMB has to try and dunk that. Go up strong. Make them foul you.

Boston getting away with a LOT of contact around the rim.
