It's the diminutive of my proper name, Charlie Brown.

My sister in law shows us #BlackMirror and I keep forgetting to watch it when we're not round hers. So I've only seen... I think five of them now, having just seen these two.

The marketing sadists at Target decided to humiliate those of us who never even *saw* a first edition in the shops by making this one of the few paperbacks in history with a 'second edition' banner across its bottom corner. Getting my hands on a first edition a while back was... cold comfort. 😡

Worst part is I can see his point - but no, I gotta believe the play's the thing 🎭

Speaking of plays, I'm just sat down to The Woodland Players' 'Frozen Assets'. If Mr H still has those am dram docs going spare, they may be worth contacting... thewoodlandplayers.co.uk/index.php/contact

It's absolutely a 'Revenge of the Cybermen'-style head in 'Dalek'. I think they made a great choice, I love all the little gun barrels and other shapes. I saw one in a museum myself in 2001. Great listen, Daniel's ability to quote 'Dalek' is wild!

I got a free Hills hoist when I visited ABC island. It's in my garden in Secondlife. I also got lamingtons and went on a chook hunt 😊

'Bjo Trimble: The Woman Who Saved Star Trek' ... Chuffed to discover she's 92 and counting. High profile fan, writer and apparently also a makeup artist – I saw her name roll by tonite on 'Flesh Gordon' no less startrek.com/en-un/news/bjo-trimble-the-woman-who-saved-star-trek

I worked in a San Francisco newsroom in 2002 when the news of Gwen Araujo's murder broke. I'll never forget the coverage of that tragic event. #TransDayOfRemembrance

In 1981 I taped Image of the Fendahl to audio cassette. When the DVD was released, I never bothered with its subtitles. Shortly after, I started eating Swede, having never et Rutabega before then. And all along, I had found Adam Colby's insult indecipherable until #TIL it's 'swede-bashing cretin.'

#DoctorWho meanders in omnibuses, building and deflating at ep breaks. And cutdowns are bare-plot sprints to the end with quintessential intimacy lost. Plus, my first watch of The Sea Devils can't be matched: weekdays at 6pm in '83 on WUNK-TV, spanning a summer weekend in which I met Jon Pertwee 😊

Blake and Cally don't know what an automobile is when they see one in 'Bounty'. But no one at all seems to know how a Trimphone is supposed to work.

Sure, I'll run the BBC but I'd better get to bed. Cue the national anthem – goodnight.

The BBC globe had a good innings, and the balloon was a helluva victory lap. But it was time for Auntie to stop considering herself The Entire Earth. In these unstable times though, she's still searching for a way to graphically self-ident *as* a country instead of a globe. tvark.org/branding/bbc...
