Human trying to do my best
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this. It's all about how it's framed.

She said he also ruined a hunting trip. Sounds like he was very high energy. Some dogs are more difficult than others but I have no double he could have been trained with some patience. Or if he really couldn't be trained to hunt as she claimed, rehomed. I think she was mad and wanted to shoot him.

Exactly! She tries to frame it as doing the hard but necessary thing. No, it was the easy thing, she literally said she hated the dog. The hard thing would have been actually putting in the time and work to train the dog. The okay thing would have been to rehome or surrender to a shelter.

The whole family is huge on hunting and shooting. Tons of pictures with guns on their social media. Whether he did it or not, he was almost definitely capable of making the shot.

Observation hive? There isn't obvious glass but one of the bees looks like it has landed on something invisible.

I saw a local FL article about this last night on FB and the comments under it were absolutely disgusting.

I like to wonder which way the cause an effect are on some of these. Are more educated people more likely to turn from religion or are non-religious people more likely to seek education? (My guess would some of both).

My dad got his BS in zoology in the 60s and half of what he learned has changed just since then.

They successfully live in cities, they have adapted to city life. Just like many birds, rats, raccoons etc. (I mean that in the common use of adapted). Anywho, I’m no longer bored at work and have things to do. So agree to disagree I guess. It was nice arguing about something other than politics.

Our understanding of evolution has grown a lot since Darwin. Survival of the fittest isn’t a term that’s really used much anymore because it’s misleading.

Again, this had nothing to do with learning to fly and one nest of chicks is not going to affect NS. Just like if a fox ate a whole nest or if a human walked by and scared the fox off saving the ducklings. One incident is not going to affect NS.
