I thought congress had approved full WIC funding but I find out today the state I'm in will be giving less on it's food packages starting next month. They're going to get less food package funding federally and otherwise would have to cut people from the program. I'm so, so, so angry right now.

I saw this bagworm while taking a walk on my lunch break. I had no idea what it was. Come to find out, this is how they're supposed to be.

In the unlikely case that anyone sees this and lives in the St. Louis area, go see Romeo and Zooliet presented by the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival at the zoo. Its absolutely charming and legitimately fun for the whole family! It's silly enough for the kids but has humor for the adults too.

I know its fun to make fun of young people's slang but we used to say someone or something was "not all that and a bag of potato chips" so maybe we should chill a little on the judgement.

I work at a WIC clinic and want everyone to know that if you and/or family member(s) qualify for WIC, please utilize it. Even if you're near the top of the income requirements, you're not taking it away from anyone else, that's not how it works. WIC wants everyone eligible to use their services!

On recent plans crashes. According to Newsweek, there were 199 fatal accidents in 2023. I’m not an expert but it doesn’t seem we’re on track to exceed that. Trump/Musk might be responsible for some of them but we can’t claim that without further investigation. www.newsweek.com/plane-crash-...
