Republican states got SCOTUS to make up law to say Biden couldn’t do student loan relief under a statute that clearly permitted it, and Republicans then called him a despot for finding another statute that clearly permitted his trying to similarly help people.

The government is shut down and our farmers need us to deliver aid and support for them NOW. The Trump Tariffs got us here, and now Speaker Johnson must convene Congress for bipartisan negotiations to reopen government, and help surge aid to our farmers, producers, and growers.

We will do what we must to get our farmers the help they need after President Trump's tariffs have shattered their livelihood. But I know NW Ohio soybean growers, and when they have a level playing field, they win. This is all unnecessary, and it's wrong.
