Health is piss poor atm: there were points where I was falling down my stairs/bumping into furniture/collapsing from dizziness in everyday tasks.
And NOW I've learnt someone threatened a family member with a knife yesterday, and I am feeling FEELINGS about that.

The trouble with the concept of "don't hold yourself to impossibly high standards" is when you're chronically ill, most of the time "high standards" is just trying to do what able-bodied people do, so it's hard to recognise that as beyond your grasp because what do you mean I can't do it too?

This is without a doubt one of the hardest parts of my ADHD. Even often on tasks that I have external drivers for (deadlines, other people relying on me, etc).
I honestly think I would be 300x more successful and a better person if I could overcome this.

Sorry to steal from Tumblr but this is so accurate it actually made me cry. The "paralysis of will" described here is the most painful symptom of my ADHD.

Got a £50 voucher from work so treated myself to a tiny drawing tablet so I can draw from my bed. I'm often ill or too dizzy to leave my bed, so this should be a game changer for my productivity now! First drawing is Emmy, who was annoyed I wasn't cuddling like we normally do at bedtime.
