Honestly, it’s exhausting that people think Gazans should only ask for help to survive to eat, to stay alive but not to dream, to study, or to rebuild their lives. Wanting education, safety, and a future isn’t greed. It’s being human.

Sometimes, #Caturday calls for catnip and contemplation.

Giles, my chonky brown and black mackerel tabby, sits on the far end of my gray couch, his back somewhat propped up against a throw pillow. His right back foot dangles off the edge of the couch, and his little front paws are pressed up together against the side of the armrest. Giles looks out the balcony windows as if contemplating the world.

26 is the famous 435 Holly's daughter. She had her first litter in 2023 but sadly lost both cubs. It's really been a gift to watch her raise these two successfully, reaping the bounty of this incredible salmon year. It's too soon to know if both cubs will make it, but they've got a good shot.
