And although Japan ceased whaling in Antartica, they left the IWC and continue whaling in their own waters.

Good news: There was no whaling in Iceland this year.

280 pilot whales killed in the latest Faroe Islands grind hunt — over 600 this year.

Driven into inlets, killed with spinal lances. Despite health authorities warning of toxic contamination in whale meat, these hunts continue.

Managed to check out Malibu State Park back in 2015, and just before Covid I had a quick 10 day trip visiting Bishop and Jtree, barely scratched the surface!
