Is this better or worse than the cringiest, most handjobbiest, most anti-science cover I've seen The Atlantic produce in my memory? When this hit my mailbox I stopped. Haven't worked up the courage to read the 12 pages of all text yet. Hoping I still find respect for the Atlantic at the conclusion.

I'm actually a little bit embarrassed by this one.

Look at how much we used to give a crap about inspirational and epic imagery in education. The publisher spent time and money on this shot. Houghton Mifflin, 1957.

Not a mug, but ceramic and sorta similar. We have a bear, you blow into it's dirty looking booty and it makes a train whistle sound.

Welcome to Michigan, land of the drivable wreck. That dent was rusted, this is old damage. I wonder how long this guy's been driving this Patriot around like that. How many tires has he worn to the cords? Not even mad, impressed. He was keeping up with traffic no problem.

Nobody ever tells you about the big stupid smiles you'll wear perpetually when you have a kid. The whimsical nonsense is the strongest cure-all I've ever experienced.

I cannot tell you how much I hate this little charge door from a cost, complexity, quality, and manufacturing standpoint.

From our then three year old, a picture of "Mom working." My wife responded with "Yeah, that seems about right."

An example of the reality distortion field that envelops the Metro Detroit area. Our little town is lousy with Regal TourXs (ours in the back), I know of at least three more within about a mile of our house. Based on local observation alone you'd swear GM sold these like hotcakes.

Thank you, CVS, in addition to your "From the Road Original Scrolls"-length receipts, you have now enshitovate again with this: Semi-bogus sale tickets obscuring almost every single product on every single shelf. That really makes finding what I came for sooooooooo easy.
