Tone is tricky in an email, but this really sounds condescending and snarky. And dismissing genuine criticism from real people as “activist organizations” is insulting.

(2/2) The big difference between the first and second Trump terms is that the assholes who head up our institutions decided that Trump's going to have his 1000 year reich and they have to just get in line. That idea is crumbling plus ppl realize he's going to fuck you anyway no matter what you do.
