Last year I had the pleasure to interview with Scholastic Science World for their "Cool Steam Jobs" featurette. I'm very excited to share the splash page talking about my experience working with scientific experts and industry partners to bring dinosaurs back to life!

Thank you Bob! The full detail sculpt is 35 million. I've created a decimated 1 million model for printing with projected details.

I don't know how to paint it digitally yet, but I am printing a model to paint physically!

I opted out of a smoother look based on the size of scales known from Camarasaurus as well as a detailed look at possible integument types from other sauropods. While we do have many impressions from sauropods, most Macronarians preserve varied hexagonal types as seen on this model.

The largest species of mammoth, the Columbian mammoth was one of the last large elephants to inhabit the grassland environments of North America during the Pleistocene epoch.

During the same period of time, the gompothere Cuvieronius inhabitted similar environments of South America.

I've been asked how I made Paleoart my full time career several times this year and the answer is; I didn't. This is the first dinosaur I've sculpted in two years, I mostly make other things.
