Sure. To be fair, he didn't say he voted for him but it's troubling that towing the company line means saying he supports Trump and not saying who he actually voted for. That tells you he knows where the company stands on the topic and he's not willing to go against them at the moment.
To be fair, he never actually said he voted for Trump and that actually changes the dynamic of what he said. He gave the "i support the president" line, but I read it as being in line with people who are like "he's still the president and we have to respect the office". Not caping, just context
