Tyler Dibling sounds like a nerdy character in a 1980s US comedy about a frat house

Hard not to like Barry isn't it?

In an era when so many footballers are deadly serious and intense, he looks like he's having the time of his life out there

Really good of Everton fans to respect people who live around the stadium by keeping the noise down during games

I think at this point the UK has accepted Paddington as the Death Bear, collector of souls. So, I think as a nation we should start smearing marmalade on the eyes of the dead and whisper “fare for the crossing”. It’ll feel weird now but, in three of four generations, no one will question it.

Nobody from north of The Wash on University Challenge tonight, and not for the first time in this series

It's very nice of Special Forces Warrant Officer guy to set out exactly how citizen groups in cities that might be invaded by ICE need to organise themselves

Nice work there Sun Tzu
MAGA military geniuses are talking about Minnesota protestors like they are the Iraqi insurgency, the Taliban, and the Viet Cong all rolled into one.

Does someone want to explain to Pocket Mussolini what an accessory after the fact is?

That bullet hit Scalise about two feet too low
Scalise lies: "The want to defund ICE. They defunded police. The police chief of Mpls said yesterday multiple times how stretched thin his department is. They don't have enough people because Mpls defunded the police." (Police were not defunded and MPD is stretched thin bc of unrest caused by ICE)

Increasingly convinced Reform is a political remake of The Producers, desperately assembling a front-bench team no-one will vote for so they never have to do any actual work

Also, it's full of Nazis

Obviously I'm not a professor or anything, but I'd say the major difference between Trump 45 and Trump 47 isn't the callous use of inappropriate language about allies, more the armed death squads roaming the streets

Maybe ask Danny if he approves of that?
Danny Kruger out there explicitly stating he wants Reform to be just like Trump 2. Wonder if he would like to clarify how that statement should be considered in the light of Trump 2’s comments on British troops fighting for NATO.
🧵 This is a very useful piece from @shippersunbound.bsky.social providing an insight into the two policy main brains in Reform UK - Danny Kruger and Zia Yusuf and how they are thinking about their approach
Kruger says ‘It’s got to be Trump 2, not Trump 1.’
