Six months and everything will be just like this again
I have supervision at 9 and quite frankly I’m not excited. It’s an expensive long talk about being a counsellor and often philosophical but I could do without it today, really.

The Saxon baptistry at St. Peter, Barton-upon-Humber might be even older than the C10th tower. Both were built (in part) with Roman stone transported by river from Yorkshire. Many burials beneath are older than the church.

The initiative will provide €325 (£283) a week to 2,000 eligible artists based in the Republic of Ireland. This follows a pilot (for which 2,000 artists were randomly selected from 8,000 applicants).

I love that people are brave enough to show their faces on their avatar, but I also REALLY TRULY love when people have cartoons and drawings like mine when chatting. I feel like I’m watching everyone from comics & kids shows all grown up. World of Richard Scarry etc

Businesses, what makes you think an email announcing
“Your bill is here!” in a saccharine manner, makes it any less unwelcome.

I imagine a burglar doing jazz hands at me while they abscond with my life savings.

Today, I was laughing around with my 15 year old son, taking bad photos & saying I was going to publish them in a book, “like that Beckham lad” i said, trying to be relevant.
“Who?” He asked.
“Erm, Brooklyn Beckham. David Beckham’s errant son.”
“WHO is David Beckham?”

I have never felt so old.

Rural childhood in the 80s to a divorced set up. My mum had an affair & left my dad & today has confided another affair spanning a decade (I always suspected). My Dad wasn’t innocent either but goddamit what do I do with this information now? All it confirms is deceptive patterns.

In an effort to ever-so-gently annoy a colleague I've been calling all machines and tech at work The Apparatus. Should The Apparatus be doing that? Are you finished with The Apparatus? I have woken this morning to an email written and sent after midnight requesting me to stop.

When you have a house spider, do you name them?

My daughter and I had one called Joanna for about a year in the kitchen. We used to catch the dog’s fleas in tweezers & place them directly into her web. She got fat.

We’ve a new one in the lounge & we’ve decided it’s called Devin. He keeps falling.
