The right move. Outside of the three game purple patch from Blackburn to Plymouth he was mainly ineffective despite putting in bags of effort. League One is his level really and Eustace clearly knows he needs better players in if we don't want another relegation battle.

Had anyone checked if Weimann has a time machine? I could be easily convinced he was 33 when we sold him about 10 years ago

100% this. Felt like Dom was personally insulted by the timing of the sacking even though it gave him the best bit of reaction radio he had all year.

Even three in the first half was wild when it took about five minutes for NML to be treated and subbed before you start adding time on for their goal celebration and other time wasting incidents from 10 mins in

Aggregate shot count this season

Swansea 6 Derby 30

Aggregate score

Swansea 3 Derby 1

😭😭😭

This is actually why football is the greatest sport in the world, but it's an unbearably cruel mistress at times. Most of the time, if you support #dcfc...

I had Oxford down before they went and took down a playoff hopeful in Watford. I think Rowett is probably just wiley enough to keep them up.

I'm mildly concerned about the momentum stopper of the international break for us, but the two games on deck are against mid table mediocrity who hopefully already have half an eye on their summer Dubai trips. If we take care of business against them I reckon we complete the impossible survival.

Interestingly, he is better odds to score today than Harness and Barkhuizen!

I actually thought early in the season Yates looked decent, he seemed to have a nice link up with lots of little flicks to runners going beyond him. Now that all evidence of progressive attacking football has dried up it's clear that those flicks were simply to hide his horrendous first touch.

Both more attractive propositions at the start of the season than Derby. Oxford might struggle to recruit next season with Rowett but he'll do enough with whatever is at his disposal. Derby will fishing in a different pond to this season with Eustace at the helm, even in League One.

There is a definite element of players not wanting to play for him, he was the direct reason for the departures of Bird, Sibley & Wildsmith. Beyond Cash & Nelson he failed to improve any of the other players at his disposal. Successfully dragged us down to his level, I guess thats okay for some fans

This completely misses the point. It's warnes fault the squad is full of piss poor footballers who have no right to be playing at his level, it's warnes fault the squad is injury ravaged and not fit for battle, it's warnes fault they're entirely bereft of confidence. He created all of the problems.

Yep spot on and tragically depressing. All time low come May when we go down (without any points deduction excuse), Hollywood / Disney vanity project Wrexham are go up and that lot down the road are in the CL 🙃

Haha no one (sane) likes Pearce. Total crook still leaching a living off the club he almost took to extinction!

Just getting rid of Warne is a net positive already, a new manager can enhance that. If the players have as much of an energy / morale boost as me from this we'll see a whole different side to them tomorrow / Tuesday. Did a 7 mile run at lunch and feel like I could do another already with the boost!
