I think you might understand a little better if you’re read up on sports. Sports writer for SB nation, Jon Bois, has this thoughtful essay.

Just one tip, his work is best read on a tablet or a desktop computer. He uses a lot of charts. you’ll see what I mean.

It’s been years since I’ve “considered” aircraft.

But they haven’t done reconstruction.
Later Disco seasons handled the reconstruction narrative VERY poorly, but the assertion that ideals will always survive as long its memory remains is what I hope Academy will tell much better in the YA genre.

Enterprise: “what are our values? What can we even build?”
Voyager: “can a small band carry its ideals in a chaotic world?“
DS9: “can ideals survive our own fears?”

There are few things I liked from Discovery, like Pike and Strange New Worlds. The Burn I felt was a useful delineation to force the setting into a post-post scarcity period so they could write stories of reconstruction.

The man better get used to saying “I invoke the 5th”, cause he’s going to be repeating it for a week straight sooner than he thinks.

I’m struggling with explaining this respectfully, but they are climbing out of a Century of Hell. I think they’ve all done things un-Starfleet in the process of reforming infrastructure that exploded across the galaxy.

It’s the young adult series. I’m on ep 2 and waiting to see episode 5 before I solidify my opinion. So far I think it’s a great idea for a mini series, but I don’t see how it can go for full seasons, and they already ordered a second.

He looks like a chill guy though. I’d bet he has his coffee straight black with a sweet cookie.

Wait a second… are we sure he’s not confusing Greenland for Iceland? That is the only sensible way to explain why he thinks the US could take the country.
