"the Palestinians’ asym­metrical fight for survival on a few scraps of land". Someone doesn't know history. The Arab Palestinians were offered 50% of the land, but they rejected the offer. The Arab Palestinians had the military support of 5 Arab armies.

Immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than natives, but the effect of such a mass demographic shift would depend heavily on the characteristics of the immigrants, their age and gender. And, removing a large portion of the male working-age population will create terrible instability in society.
