Of course Trump arrived well before Covid and probably wins a second term without Covid but Covid shifted voters here (Younkin's win the most obvious sign). Not sure this is true outside the US.

Hard to ignore choppy stagnant decade for millennials following the Great Recession further fueled by Covid as that group was finally getting their legs under themselves. Plenty of data that this group, the last to be raised prior to smart phones, is driving a lot of this.

Depends if Trump and the marketing team he calls an administration get behind it.

He should be lead voice for every sport on every network except for maybe NBA.

running a city means you are multiply hemmed in with limited funds, you need to optimize what you've got and making good policy outcomes happen at lower cost is the ballgame day to day

federal-focused progressive politics in the zirp age has been able to ignore these complications

I think you are on to something - tech much more like a religion.

A shame that the word "diversity" now reads as "minorities only" to those who see the world through a zero sum lens.

Isn't the issue that there are shenanigans which make everyone else suspect?

What would you guess the deciding voters in purple states think on this issue?

The abstract seems to toggle between two different sample descriptions. Was the survey among all Americans or just among those who live in "suburban and urban" environments?

Interested in quality of life juxtaposition where someone in Bridgeport making $70k is dealing with quite a few issues like crime that might not be comparable to someone in the UK at that income level. Homicide rate in the mid teens (per 100k) generally over the past decade and school system a mess.

This is great. Might have gone with Celts gambling and drafting Bird prior to his final year at Indiana State as the '78 or '79 event (occurred in '78 but impactful in '79)

Why was 1st quarter of 2020 so violent?

I encourage you to watch this game beginning to end. Mitchell opens 5-5 from really deep and then spends the rest of the game seemingly attempting not to score. Multiple terrible passes from the lane out to Ball (to miss 3s), turnovers and a pair of missed free throws. www.espn.com/nba/boxscore...

Still so strange that public sector labor unions are allowed to donate, endorse and campaign in elections when the candidate they help win is then supposed to be their adversary in contract negotiations.

Each inidivudual chapter would have landed in Best American Sportswriting. Best part of the Bates chapter was it wasn't that long after those playoffs.
