Then now would be a good time to ramp up some contempt charges . . . Then enforce them.
This Is Good, But ICE Will Ignore It….

HUGE VICTORY: A judge just ruled EVERYONE picked up by ICE is entitled to a bond hearing in front of a judge – no more disappearing people into indefinite detention, for no reason. 👏 GOOD.

They do. But the plain fact is you can’t teach writing in a semester. Your experience shows that you were a motivated student. Congratulations for your success. 👍🏼
Do they not do assessment testing and remedial courses anymore? As a high school dropout, I didn't know how to write when I got to college either, but they deduced that and helped me to correct it.

The whole chain is guilty. From Hegseth to the sailor who pushed the button. “Just following orders “ is not a defense.
Someone (almost certainly multiple people) in the US Navy's chain-of-command clearly committed murder as defined by both international law and US military code. Was it Trump? Was it Hegseth? Admiral Frank Bradley? Subordinates? Do not let this go.

It’s not the first time we’ve had a war criminal at the helm, but never one this pathetically, recklessly stupid.
How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

I’m shocked! Shocked I say!
The Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly shared state voter-registration data with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), despite earlier assurances to state election officials that the information would only be used for routine voter-list maintenance. Beginning in May 2025, DOJ

While we’re at it, can we ban headlines the use the words “bombshell” or “all hell breaks loose .”
'Tis the season never to write "'Tis the season" in any headline, ad copy, whatever.

Chip Roy was soooo close. Yes, Chip, the problem is that insurance companies are rakin' in the bacon, so isn't the solution to cut out the middleman and just get to single-payer like every other civilized country? It's about health CARE, not health INSURANCE.

What was that? Like, two or three hundred people? It’s nice, but let’s not get in front of our skis here.

That would be ideal.
Johnson: "If we lose the majority… They will try to end the Trump administration. He won't have 4 years. He'll have only 2, because they will move to impeach him, probably on the first day of the new Congress in January 2027 and try to systematically unwind all the important reforms that we've done"

I got heat from my deeply Republican family for referring to it as “the Cheney administration.” I stand by that characterization.

The media is about to blitz us with stories about how awful Maduro is and I want you to remember that even if they're all true, they are being issued solely for the purpose of manufacturing consent for invading Venezuela and killing innocent people.

Given all the things he should know about but doesn’t, he has to be the most pig-ignorant speaker we ever had.
Q: What's your reaction to yesterday's purge of senior ICE officials? When is it time for Congress to do some oversight?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know any of the details of that yet. I just heard about that, literally I was walking in.

Thought experiment, how much of the White House could the president tear down before anyone in power did anything meaningful to stop it? Like if he just kept going?
