I teach people to talk good. Real good. 🗣️
My dad often said, 'go to 123 Jump Street.' That was Southside slang for 'get lost', too.

Then there was an old TV show called 21 Jump Street. I don't know where they got the 21 from.

I used to do this in my email signature. Just let people know what I was reading that week. I have it in my calendar to change my email signature line every Friday.

I just saw another video on how the m dash is the number one "tell" for ai use. I smacked my forehead. It's an urban legend, at this point!

And you're right on the ai checkers. I can change 15 words in a 1000 word piece, and suddenly my stats go from "40% ai-generated" to "100% original." No joke.

If an organization shows great efficiency results after a few weeks of making drastic cuts: wait for it.

The crash-and-burn phase is usually pretty spectacular.

Getting rid of institutional knowledge creates disorder and chaos.

Making rash decisions and in the name of efficiency seldom yields outstanding long-term results.

So the new hires baled and stored the newly cut hay in the barn immediately after harvest.

The barn, of course, burst into flames within 24 hours. (You need to leave baled hay out in the field to dry. If you store it too soon, it combusts.)

The farm is totally gone now.

In the name of efficiency, the new hires decided that letting the hay stand in round bales in the field for months before putting it in the barn was a waste of time.

Why not put the newly mown hay in the barn right away? Wouldn’t that be more EFFICIENT?
