I know these are still brand spankin' new but they're already the best jerseys the Caps have and I hope we keep 'em around.

"How can we let people know that this is a show about selling stuff but really about a bunch of dicks?"
"We could sell DVD sets but make each season a different size and slightly alter the color so they won't match at all."
"Perfect."

Good luck! Hope someone comes through for ya.

I took a sketch workshop from him a bunch of years back. He was a very nice guy, and exactly as neurotic and self-deprecating as you'd think.

Stoppard drops this tremendous speech into "The Real Thing." Few have done a better job putting into words why good writing is just, well, *better.* (...while also making us both feel warmly towards the character saying the lines and think he's a bit of an asshole.)

I think Impressionism still resonates so much because the subject matter and style are in perfect balance: pastoral lives captured in simple brushstrokes. What once seemed modern is now quaintly past, a dreamlike and beautiful view of a simpler world to modern eyes in post-industrial landscapes.

Everything about this movie says it should be terrible. A teen rip-off/riff on Pulp Fiction? With Scott Wolf, Jay Mohr, and Katie Holmes? Yeah, but there's Sarah Polley killing it, a young Timothy Olyphant, and tons of style thanks to Doug Liman's sure direction. It shouldn't work, but it does.

I took this picture years ago of my daughter looking at a Degas ballerina sculpture this. One of the best things I've ever managed to capture on film.

Yes and no. The CD is actually longer (there's a song called "Plug Tunin' at the end they apparently added on for the CD release).

Far be it for me to tell you where to get your schadenfreude these days, but if you would like a little of the legal variety, this is some amazing stuff.
