"but art should be accessible" it is, you can learn to draw, paint, collage, sculpt, make pixels. right now, starting today. art has never been more accessible monetarily nor physically than it is now in this age. access to artist labor and machine production is not an accessibility issue.

artists aren’t the fucking bourgeois or “elite”. every artist i know can barely make rent. every artist i know is one severe enough hospital bill away from being homeless. we’re not all banksy or andy warhol. sick of this idea being passed around as we deal with companies exploiting us constantly.

i had such an amazing time @ tracon after too many years! thank you everyone who came by! so many of you mentioned missing seeing me in finnish cons 😭 i was not expecting that and i will absolutely try to get a table next year as well 👁️♥️ now i just gotta restock SO many things for the store..

First complete assembly! Everything looks good to me. So very satisfying—that’s fifteen pieces of cast metal, plus fasteners, in a very tiny space! Now more polishing on the wings, then patination and final polish 😅🛠️ but look: here’s our proud planthopper gent!
