I bought a soy sauce aged in kentucky bourbon barrels for stocking stuffers this year, and damn that is the good shit. I am now eyeing their smoked version. bourbonbarrelfoods.com/pages/soy-sa...

I do do alcohol, but when I need to sub it out, I use either lemon juice + broth for volume, or I use a bit of vinegar.

Try the spiral pins. My hair is also super slippery and spiral pins are the thing for formal occasions for me as a result. You screw them in to the bun or braid.

Have you tried spiral hair pins? Three will keep my butt length hair on top of my head all day. Also, I like the new flat hair claw clips for just throwing my ponytail on top of my head swamp witch hair style. Much more comfortable than the older ones. Also a big fan of 2 prong hairsticks.

we have spent the last decade in a race to the bottom with politicians competing to be the most vulgar, the most cruel, the most boundary transgressing, the most celebratory of pure vice.

I just want some politicians to say, "hey we could be better, and I think we should be"

but like, with style

Fewer bots in the comments in Insta. My experience is that Instagram has plenty of interaction in the small still quiet pools, just like any other social media. If you want chats, don't look at 1k+ follower accounts with a million views.

Once every decade or so I agree with Lindsey Graham on an issue, and I spend the next 6 months horrified and double checking all my thoughts.

AI as promoted by the techbros is a terrible pyramid scheme that makes me furious. One piece of that fury is that they poison the well for the worthwhile uses of AI.

I am going to have to look up Tricia Ashley, because I love and have reread every other title on your list.

But I am a serial rereader, so my genuine list is super long.

Outlaws is the only one of hers I have never reread. I just bought The Hero & the Crown for my almost nieces for Christmas, along with their first Tamora Pierce quartet.
current comfort reads are Audrey Faye's Ghost Mountain series, Andrea K Host -Touchstone series, and CJ Milbrandt - Meadowsweet.

BEWITCHING BENEDICT - an absolute comedy of errors, ensemble cast #RegencyRomance. I would really love it if this would somehow go viral & sell a ton of copies so I could justify writing more because it was SO FUN!
