Clearly the architect was in on it, as the pyramid is at exactly the right angle for that ladder to reach the second floor windows.

If he wants truly integrated places, why doesn’t he start with letting poor people live alongside rich people. Or maybe his view is entirely about non-white people and not really about integration at all.

Whether this is true or not, this sums up Sheffield United’s board over the 50 years I’ve followed them. Even when they are on the cusp of something (like last season) they conspire to screw it up. Not a single point and only 1 goal so far.

Incredible performance by Carlos Alcaraz tonight and the whole fortnight. Like the Federer-Nadal-Djokovic era, he and Sinner are stepping up their game every time they meet. 3 successive finals at Grand Slams and they just keep getting better. #USOpen

I was in the Arthur Ashe stadium exactly ten years ago when Donald Trump was attending the Serena v Venus quarter-final. The men’s QF had overrun and there was a massive scrum with 20k people leaving and another 20k trying to get in. Nothing like tonight’s fiasco though

This weekend I’ve been a different kind of busy. Running the stage at Hope Cove Weekend in Devon where we’ve had bands on each of three nights, an Open Mic and singer/songwriters during the late afternoon. A new career beckons!
