I loved The Briar Club. Never read Kate Quinn before but I will absolutely check out more of her work. I read this in 2 days and it’s a hefty book.

This lady churns out books that suck me in from the jump. Mid flight a woman begins predicting age of death cause of death for the other passengers apropos of NOTHING and it goes from there.

One of my go to podcasts is What a Creep and there’s always a non-creep at the end. The one I just listened to the non-creep spotlight shone on Thurgood Marshall. So that led to this week’s book choice.

Today’s book is about a young RN that impulsively joins the Army in ‘66 wanting to be a hero. She gets her wish, to the horror of her family and herself upon arriving in Vietnam. I can’t put it down and it’s coming with me on both appointments today. #takealookitsinabook
