You can find him on Instagram at the handle akamineyukio. His menswear blog, unfortunately, has been lost to time.

On the eve of an AI revolution, he posts another image of himself in a winter outfit: a DB overcoat worn over a three-piece gray flannel suit. The image was accidentally recorded as a video, but he posted it anyway. This man, totally unmoved by technology, continues to do what makes him happy.

Sometimes he posts images of himself on his travels. Or nature. Or him visiting his mom's grave

Occasionally, he "messes up," such as when he posts the same photo of himself with his stylish friends multiple times. Or when the image is off-center. But he leaves the images up, never "correcting."

All this while, Akamine posts photos of himself in his outfits, his style never changing. It's always the same clothes cut from the same fabrics and made in the same silhouettes, combined in the same ways. The grayness of his hair is the only way you know these images were taken decades apart.

it brings me no pleasure to say this, but gen alpha will make the same mistake as millennials. they will abandon high rise trousers and adopt skinny, low rise pants, deeming the first to be too "old" and the second "young." then their children will rightly mock them.
