I’ve argued for two months that we would clearly label DOGE a junta or mercenaries if they were at work overseas. Read this list and tell me how this isn’t an extralegal junta mercenary army?
Here are four ways that DOGE, as a dark network, is amassing power while avoiding accountability

I'd like to remind Donald Trump that the United States became the most powerful, most prosperous nation on earth not in spite of immigrants, but because of them.

Proud to stand with my Congressional Hispanic Caucus colleagues this week in defense of immigrant families.

When Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde mentions LGBTQ children, JD Vance all but rolls his eyes and looks at his wife, who, wisely, ignores him.

This is an odd reaction from a man who struggled with wondering if he was gay a child. But Republicans aren't famous for their self-awareness or empathy.
Wow. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde fearlessly calls out Trump and Vance to their faces. This is heroic.

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

If you perform at the Trump inauguration or at any related events you are endorsing him. Full stop. And it’s no more defensible than if you performed for Putin or Orban or in the 1930s for the German chancellor. You can dress it up all you want but that’s what it is.

This is, indeed, how Donald Trump has always used lawyers, and how he will continue to use lawyers.

This is not a man who is interested in legal advice.

This is a man who brings attorneys into his sphere to use them as instruments for criminal activity.

He's been doing this for literally decades.
