I also cut down the original dress to make a skirt for a different event. Can't decide whether to wear it for the BFS bar meetup on Wednesday night or the BFS awards on Saturday evening.

Phoenix had a run in with the interloper that has been coming into the house and eating her food, and messing in her garden. There was some cat-shouting and then they sauntered away from each other when I went out to see what was going on.

I told my dad ahd step-mum that I was on the 'Queer in Fantasy' panels and you should have seen their faces 🤣. Lynn didn't know where to look or what to say. I almost laughed but I was too busy trying to explain that words can be reclaimed. Then she was racist. Which is normal for her. Unfortunately

I've spent this weekend crocheting a pair of thick socks from my Lottie & Albert Curate Crochet Box. They're mostly cream with green highlights on the toe or heel and cuffs. They're made using Drops Fiesta yarn, which is 75% wool and 25% polyamide. I need to wear thin socks with them because wool!

Last night I spent a good couple of hours outlining the novel I've already started writing and it helped me work out how some of the events that need to happen are going to happen. I also doryed out a couple of the major subplots, and gave my main character a nervous breakdown. Twice.
