Whether Jenrick Himmler believes the poison he's spreading or not, the more important point IMO is that he knows that there's a ready market for it, politically and financially. Seems to me he's liying in wait for as and when Reform implode and he can offer an oven-ready racist Tory party he leads.

This really needs to be said and understood. What makes it worse, if possible, is that it is not coming out of any genuine crisis or emergency. It is a deliberate attempt to whip up anger and grievance in order to capitalise upon it & in Jenrick's case purely to advance his leadership ambitions.

I say this with the bluntness it requires: they will get people murdered if this continues. This is not just populism anymore either: it’s completely unhinged and a deliberate choice that does endanger lives. I am not saying this lightly at all.

£106 to book a standard train return from London to Preston for my eldest to go visit the in-laws. For less money I could book her a flight to at least 40 European destinations on the same dates. It’s a ludicrous world we live in. The solutions are easy but greed trumps common sense every time

Football owners who lurch from one style/philosophy to another without any thought for the actual strengths and weaknesses of their playing squad are in my humble opinion not going to be very successful. I put Tottenham and West Ham very firmly in that particular boat.

Ange and Nuno on completely different ends of the spectrum when it comes to footballing styles and philosophy. Forest have brought in a huge amount of players whose strengths are geared towards a counter-attacking game plan. Football chairmen are mostly sporting morons. As are fans.

Worry that Labour are making the same mistakes with Farage as Democrats did with Trump. Reform voters don’t care about morality, integrity or decency. They care about their own earnings and having someone to scapegoat for their problems. Demonizing Farage and Reform won’t work as a main message.

Yes, yes you are. Stop cosplaying "legitimate concerns". When you join a far right rally, organised by well known far right leader Tommy Robinson, with a host of speakers who outright say they are far right, you are a racist. No ifs, buts or maybes. There are no excuses for being there.
