All i've been thinking today is how they've declared with their words and demonstrated with their actions that they are truly enemies of the people.

Even the framing device of the snarky kid who complains about how cliche it all is ends up being full of genuine, heartfelt enjoyment. The kid loves the story and wants to hear it again! And so do i!

Thinking about it again and realizing it's another shining example of Sincere Silly. The entire story is packed with comedy and absurdity but the characters are always serious about what they're doing and never break the fourth wall to tell the audience how silly they're being.

haha my old files still open! no plans to use them any more but it's nice to see something i made so long ago. this file ended up being part of my very first set of 3d printed items too, because my roommate had gotten in early on the then-developing 3d printing scene and had a printer of his own.

i do appreciate people trying to make tutorials but i appreciate it more when they have a plan and sense of pacing so they aren't just mumbling about here's how you can do it with method A, but method B is also valid sometimes, however method A is better, but it's up to you, there's also method C,

Man i get why it isn't the main focus, given the context, but the vice president literally saying they have federal agents going door to door looking for undesirables seems like an escalation of rhetoric. Not even trying to hide behind talk of "targeting" and "precision"

"It's the users not the tool" as a blame-shift is a convenient backdoor to claiming artistic credit for the things the slop machine generates for you.

The "seasonal" sirius xm station goes halloween mode for the end of october and has enough music to fill at least half a day, and it's all stuff that mentions ghosts or wolves like has been said, but it all feels thematically fitting. It also includes "bring me to life" and the scooby doo theme.

I've been thinking about this post on and off since i first saw it, and i've come to the conclusion that this is because halloween has a much broader theme than, say, christmas, which is basically about a singular event. So a lot more tangential music is seen as appropriately halloween related.
